Description
Essential UI adjustments for Fallout 3: smaller fonts, larger item selection areas, improved conversation menus, etc. Designed for screen resolutions of 1024×768 and higher.

Installation
Extract the archive into your Fallout 3 folder (default C:\Program Files \Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3). Open FALLOUT.INI (default …\My Documents\My Games\Fallout3\FALLOUT.INI) with any text editor and change the value of bInvalidateOlderFiles from 0 to 1 (i.e., bInvalidateOlderFiles=1).
Additional Notes
If you wish to revert to the original black texture without uninstalling the mod, open …\Menus\dialog\dialog_menu MTUI\dialog_menu.xml with a text editor and replace
MTUI\background.dds
with
Interface\Shared\Background\solid_black.dds
If you wish to remove dialog menu backgrounds altogether, use the optional transparent texture instead:
MTUI\empty.dds
